Permanent 30 hours
Monday – Friday plus some weekends
Between 8.30am-6.00pm
Overtime available

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a person who can work in a person-centred way, is enthusiastic, professional, self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team and has a sense of humour.

You will be responsible for providing dedicated 1:1 support to a number of service users.

You will support with:

Shopping, cooking, healthy eating, cleaning, emotional well being, building relationships, safety in the home, spiritual and cultural needs, risk taking, going out and about in the community.

Essential

Ability to communicate effectively in English, which includes being able to actively listen to and follow instructions from the service user.

Aged 18 or over.

Valid driving license and access to a car

Previous experience in a similar role.

Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK

Provider Details:

Supporting Options is a small social care provider who offers quality services to adults with learning disabilities and mental health. Support workers support service users on a 1:1 basis in their own tenancies and with every aspect of daily living. Service users are also supported to take part in activities in the community.
