As the Nursing and Care Home Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, reporting directly to the Head of Quality. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of care and Nursing at Brandon by overseeing the effective management of a number of geographically identified Care and Nursing Home managers and ensuring every person supported feels valued and cared for.

We’re looking for:
– Minimum 3 years of operational management experience with a successful track record of leadership
– Current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC)
– Experience in clinical supervision of trained Nurses
– Developing and delivering high-quality new services and transforming services
– Commercial awareness, business development, contract management, and strong financial management skills
– Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
– A positive approach towards working with people with learning disabilities

About you:

Your responsibilities: 
- Inspire and manage a team of dedicated care professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Provide clinical management and leadership to the area nursing team
- Co-ordinate and deploy area resources in the most optimal way, responding to need and in compliance with good governance 
- Implement processes that support managers to fulfil their responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety regulations
- Co-ordinate, respond to, and satisfactorily manage complaints 
- Champion people supported by Brandon to be involved every day in directing and influencing the nature of the service they receive across all services 
- Ensure that the pursuit of person-centered approaches are key elements of Brandon’s overall strategy and service delivery 
- Ensure actions derived from customer surveys and voices events are kept live and actioned 
Promote effective engagement with and involvement of staff, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement
