In this full time role , you’ll join a well-established and supportive team at a homely, residential care home in Bedminster, Bristol. You’ll support seven individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities at home and in the community. You don’t necessarily need experience as we provide full training.
About the role
Your day will include supporting individuals in day-to-day activities, including support with eating and drinking and personal care. You’ll also support them to enjoy activities within the home. As part of the team of staff you’ll also participate in running the home. Find out more about these aspects of the role through videos on our website.
If you’re new to health and social care, we provide full training including the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you’ve experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you’ll discover we provide plenty of on-going training and career progression.Provider Details:

You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You can work 24/7 shifts including weekends and evenings / nights.
A full driving licence is essential

All Support Workers have the option of working additional hours or sleep-ins in a range of services and are paid £50-£70 extra per sleep-in.
Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
