At Supported Independence we have an upcoming vacancy for a Mental Health Support Worker with driving licence to join one of our teams in central Bristol, e.g. Redcliffe, Easton, Filton, Kingswood, Hengrove, Knowle. We are also interested to hear from candidates with dom. care/personal care experience, as one of our upcoming positions would provide the opportunity to provide 'floating support' to some of our clients with changing personal care needs.

Our support worker roles also offer excellent experience and development opportunities for anyone starting careers in social work, clinical psychology/psychiatry, mental health, etc.

Package:

· Current starting salary is between £9.60 (unqualified) and £9.89 (NVQ3 Health & Social Care or equivalent) qualified. (Unqualified on 37.5 hours p/w annual wage is £18,720)

· Staff loyalty pay scheme with increases after 13 months, 25 months and upon completion of selected qualifications or promotions.

About you:

Driving licence essential as we also support outreach clients! - Company fleet vehicles available for work journeys, or generous mileage allowance paid for staff using their own car (by agreement).

Previous support work experience helpful, but not essential, as we can provide all necessary training.
