We are looking for a full-time Service Manager to work alongside the Registered Manager. The job involves shaping service delivery and standards of care through effective people management, quality monitoring, business performance and health and safety standards
• Pay: from £32269PA
• Hours: 40hrs/week

The job involves:

  • Overall, in charge of staff, service delivery and business performance
  • Supervise care co-ordinators and other senior staff carry out their duties effectively
  • Responsible for staff recruitment and development
  • Responsible for team development/restructuring to respond to business needs and performance
  • Training staff and supervising quality of  service delivery
  • Managing staff attendance and ensuring health and safety in the service.
  • Setting quality of care plans, and procedures
  • Monitoring staff’s quality of documentation and practice with clients in line with policies and procedures
  • Following up incidents recorded by staff and liaise with line manager about raising of safeguarding incidents
  • Supervising reviewing care plans with clients and their carers
  • Attending to complaints and all communication from clients and their carers
  • Communication  with brokers,  social workers about clients and negotiating contracts
  • Manage on call  rota and ensuring staff  support when needed
  • Manage budgets, business performance and relationship with business partners and our main suppliers

• Sound Health or Social Care experience
• Current or previous management OR team leadership experience.
• Willingness to take up sponsored and achieve job related NVQ training
• Sound IT Skills .
• Driver with a vehicle
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Deputising Registered Manager and be available to support Senior staff
