Depending on the service user you are caring for, duties may include:
· Personal care – toileting, bathing, oral care, dressing, assisting with medication
· Practical tasks – making beds, shopping, preparing meals, some domestic tasks
· Emotional and social support – befriending, companionship
· Daily living skills – assist with, teach and promote independent life skills wherever possible
· Escorted outings – accessing community-based activities such as college, work placements, and any other social and leisure activities
· Accompany to GP appointments, Hospital visits, shopping trips and visiting friends and family

including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, although your preferred hours can be discussed at interview.

Provider Details:Founded in 2009, we provide support to anyone from the age of 18 and above, including people with dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory loss/dual sensory impairment, mental health, terminal illness - palliative care, personal or family carers, or those just needing a little bit of extra help, “cherish able care” can be the solution you need to stay in your own home.
About you:· Have a genuine interest in caring for others
· Be Professional, Caring, Friendly, Reliable, Trustworthy and willing to learn
· Be willing to undergo DBS check or have a valid electronic portable DBS
· Be available to work alternate weekends
· whilst preferred, experience is not a necessity, as full Care training will be provided
· Driving license with own transport essential
