Depending on the service user you are caring for, duties may include:

· Personal care – toileting, bathing, oral care, dressing, assisting with medication

· Practical tasks – making beds, shopping, preparing meals, some domestic tasks

· Emotional and social support – befriending, companionship

· Daily living skills – assist with, teach and promote independent life skills wherever possible

· Escorted outings – accessing community-based activities such as college, work placements, and any other social and leisure activities

· Accompany to GP appointments, Hospital visits, shopping trips and visiting friends and family


· Flexible hours – Full Time or Part Time

· Paid mileage (Drivers only) – 0.32p per mile

· 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)

· Full and on-going support
· Free uniform and PPE

· Free Training

· Free DBS check after probation period (6 months)

· Career progression (QCF levels 2, 3 & 5)

including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends, although your preferred hours can be discussed at interview.

About you:

· Have a genuine interest in caring for others

· Be Professional, Caring, Friendly, Reliable, Trustworthy and willing to learn

· Be willing to undergo DBS check or have a valid electronic portable DBS

· Be available to work alternate weekends

· whilst preferred, experience is not a necessity, as full Care training will be provided

· Driving license with own transport essential
